...looms over the Vinegar Strokes Fantasy League. Tom has fallen out of favor with the league and was voted out of his non-elected position of commissioner. He used his newly acquired spare time and banker's hours to come back with a vengeance and win it all. The Tori stands in her same place as 2016 - the Leinhos-Ewing household.
The First to Worst curse has once again struck a member of the Leinhos family. Burdened under her new responsibilities as commissioner, and dealing with the constant bitching of league members, Krista cracked under pressure and ended up with the worst season record of her career. Are the Patriots-Belichick gods punishing her for her new allegiance to the Raiders? Or is it for simply unfollowing Tom Brady on Instagram that caused this tragedy?
Mike has risen to the top of every desirable chart in the history of the league with a staggering 44 wins and only 24 losses overall. Will this be his year?
Kenny finished in second place for an embarrassing 3rd year in a row. What will he do differently this year to break the glass ceiling? Will Tori ever let him reach home?
David barely tries because money isn't involved. Will the new league buy-in and payout structure capture his "full" attention?
Justin had a promising 10-4 end to the 2017 season. What will be his strategy to make it through the playoffs this year?
Robert and Kevin are neck and neck for the most overall losses; 42 and 40, respectively. Who will actually pay attention to the league this year?
Stay tuned for an exciting, drama-filled season!
...itself in some ways, and hilariously did not repeat in others.
Kevin is the first repeat winner of the Tori, and will finally cement his permanent status on the trophy pillars, despite being an original 2013 member of VSFL. Everyone was rooting for the self-proclaimed "Eli Manning of the League" to beat Robert.
Robert barely managed his team, and somehow ended up in the Tori Bowl.
Tom and Kenny pulled off miraculous seasons, both ending 11-3, but fell short where it counts: the playoffs. Kenny had a notable achievement this year, scoring 204.1 points in a single game.
Krista is the first back-to-back Chuck loser. She blames Alvin Kamara. She resigned as commissioner to focus on improving her fantasy skills.
Mike had an average season. He is the first in the league to break 10,000 points forced.
David improved his performance from last year, but still fell short of anything remarkable.
None of Justin's strategies seemed to pay off, as he finished 2-12 and obviously did not make it to the playoffs. His only shining moment was having his best game ever in the Chuck Bowl.
